Meiji Snow Apollo

It snowed today. We can rarely watch a snow scene in Shizuoka. Because snow stopped, I went to the convenience store to buy chocolate. And I boutht this.

This is chocolate of the limitation in winter. It is a combination of milk chocolate and white chocolate and chocolate of the strawberry taste.

1969 when this chocolate was released is the year when Apollo 11 landed at the surface of the moon. The form of the chocolate seems to image the form of the satellite of the spaceship of Apollo 11. So cute.

Ichigo Daifuku (Strawberry Daifuku )

Ichigo daifuku is a kind of Japanese confection consisting of a strawberry inside 'daifuku', which is a rice cake stuffed with sweet bean paste. We can buy it from December around May when strawberries are in season. Sweetness of bean jam matches the acidity of the strawberry well. when strawberries are in season.

This strawberry is length of around 5 centimeters. I bought this at Tomiokaya in Mishima city.
