Plum pickles

These are Umeboshi that are pickled Japanese Ume(plum).
After having done food preserved in salt and Shiso(Japanese basil), I dried the fruit of the plum in the sun.I make this in my house in this season. Amazingly,it can preserve more than 100 years if be in good.

The taste is very sour. It match white rice very much, I put it in a rice ball.
Depending on a district, People may use the honey to add sweetness to it.
The sweet pickled ume is delicious too.
